And the winner of the sandcastle competition is ..

Took my mum to The Grove for a coffee this morning. This hotel is just across the road from where she lives. The grounds are lovely and we sat in the garden admiring the view. Although it's only about 1/4 of a mile away it seems like a different world.

We saw Mark Owen checking out at reception. My mum likes Take That (even tho she's 84!) so that gave her a thrill.

This sandcastle was also in reception advertising the 'beach' they have in the walled garden.


If I win the lottery I might book myself in for a few days - I wish!
