Proof of cessation of hostilities!!

This is a scene that we could not imagine when Mylo first met Mittens, a couple of years ago. I didn't think it was possible for a cat to do so many circuits of a room, halfway up the wall, before spotting the curtain as a potential escape route, and clutching to the very top on the window side and refusing to move until I pryed her off, long after Mylo had been removed. He wasn't even chasing her, just looking for me. Since then, things have improoved dramatically, although Mittens does like it on her terms. It doesn't help that we have the occasional dog visitor to the house who does think that cats are for chasing!!!! Anyway, as you can see, Mittens was very comfy on the chair with the string from the ironing board cover draped over her head, and Mylo just had to lay so he could check that i hadn't sneaked away for the weekend, as he had watched bags being loaded into the car earlier, as D & G have headed off to visit T & C in their new house. Didn't think I could risk sitting in the car for the long journey to Somerset without putting my back out again!!!! Anyway, my very best wishes to them in their new home- have a glass for me!
