#50 Inquisitive

What a depressing shoot this afternoon. It was a pissy grey day and freezing cold but even that was brighter than my mood since getting home and downloading the results.

I headed down to Portobello beach to shoot some gulls. After the disappointment of last weekend's shots of the bullfinch (which didn't see the light of day) I was hoping that the larger birds would prove easier to shoot. Think again. I'm obviously doing something wrong with this new lens but so far so crap!

As the name suggests, this is shot fifty. Shot fifty of four hundred and seventy eight. And the only one worth a damn and even then...

Ah well, back to the drawing board. Anyone want a lens?
