Rusty

Very grey day today with a few flurries of snow which amounted to nothing except keeping the temperature down to freezing. A brief outing at lunchtime drew me to these original park railings which must date back to 1878 when the park opened. The current refurbishment programme has resulted in many of the original railings have been replaced, but I rather like these original distressed sections. It's the weekend, have fun whatever you're doing :)
