Castlerigg Stone Circle
On my way home from work today, I took a detour up to Castlerigg, seeing the clouds above St. Johns in the Vale made the decision for me. First time using my polariser on my 11-16, I used it at the high end of course. Staying warm while taking this photo was a challenge.
Overall not a bad day, bit of forgetful morning; leaving my dinner at home, forgetting my camera remote. Had to use time for the few photos I took at Castlerigg and the wind really did pick up.
Keeping the clouds from blurring and keeping a good depth was quite challenging with this shot, so I turned my ISO up to 400, used a slight layer of Gaussian blur to get rid of most of the grain.
