Almond Croissant

Hello You ,

Today technology failed me meaning I didn't get any of the work I planned to done and all the girls went off home for the weekend , so i went on a little adventure , ambling down albany road , through Roath Pleasure Gardens and ending up by Roath Park Lake . It's so pretty there and i've been wanting to go since we 2nd year started . And as lovely as it would have been to have had someone to take it all in with , there was something rather nice about being alone with just my camera , my ipod and my thoughts . It was bitterly cold though , even with gloves on my fingers went numb . It did briefly sprinkle snow on cardiff for a few moments this afternoon but it didn't stick , it was lovely though to walk through the almost empty park as the snowflakes speckled my red coat . I popped into Coffee #1 on the way back , a new one that's just opened on Wellfield street , I drank my latte and ate my croissant and just sat in the warmth for a while before heading back , buying the few things i'd popped out for originally on the way home . Oh well I suppose I should start some work this evening , but I don't resent it as much after such a lovely afternoon
