After a couple of hours sleep, I returned to the airport to try and get yet another flight home.

All flights to Manchester had a 10 or 12 person waiting list.

The first flight I could book on was a flight to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

That was scheduled for a 20:30 take off.

With loads of time to spare I headed into Amsterdam by train.

I needed a change of scenery from the departure lounges!

I eventually took of at 21:15, 45 minutes later than planned.
