ICE FEATURE

Our side wall at home had transmogrified into a frozen waterfall by this morning, though the threatened snow seems to have missed us, but only because it is far too cold to snow.

It was not a very pleasant drive to work, and because of the conditions I parked as near to work as I could, but then had to negotiate a steep section of pavement. There is a handrail on the top corner which was lucky as by the time I had grabbed it I was sliding backwards down the hill at speed. At least it meant I wasn't late for work but it was hardly an elegant way to arrive.

The trains have been cancelled and one person only managed to get in to work by taxi. Her fare reimbursed from petty cash, by a boss grateful that she made it in at all as there are 4 of us in today as opposed to a full compliment of 15.

My blip seems rather out of focus, I think because I was shivering with the cold.
