Another rescue bag.
Today I've been up to my friend's flat to get some things to take to hospital for him. I then went and got him some slippers, dressing gown, pyjamas, toiletries (see blip), a puzzle book and a newspaper (albeit late by the time he gets it).
I bought the toiletries bag as well and a flannel. I brought a towel home from his and washed it. It didn't need washing but I felt better for doing it.
Broadgreen has an e-greeting service so I used it to send him a message telling him I'd try to get in to see him on Friday and he's not to worry about anything.
I tried to relax after that but it wasn't easy. Mum has been a nightmare, not doing what I've asked her to do, questioning everything at every turn and just generally making things more difficult.
When I put her to bed she just continued to talk away to nobody and that went on almost the entire night. (this is a back blip posted on Friday morning).
