A bit of a rushed blip here.

F-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-reezing in Manchester with pathetic rain all day.
Car in for service and MOT £212.00 (pretty painless compared to some years).

Dad's taxi in service again collecting daughter from train station and I literally poked the camera out of the car window to take this on the way back.

This is Beetham Tower in the centre of Manchester which can be seen for miles. I also found out today that it can be heard for miles (up to 3) too because in high winds the fins at the top of the building hum.
According to an acoustic engineer at Salford Uni "the building plays about B below middle C for those who want to play along".
This humming has of course brought plenty of complaints. They even had to stop filming Coronation street once because of the noise. The horror :-)
