Windy Hilo

I drove Luke to Hilo in northern Hawaii and took him ziplining at Umauma Falls for his birthday. Hilo was WINDY. Ziplining was amazing - breathtaking and terrifying. We zipped over waterfalls and gorges and went almost 60 miles per hour on some runs. It was well worth it. We then spent the night at the Hilo Hawaiian and discovered a delightfully tasty local little restaurant with a local Hawaiian boy playing music. It was a lovely day.
