Break Time

Abduction

So i today i travelled back to my Stirling, my second home.

I realised i hadn't given my lovely friends Hayleigh or Claire a proper hug goodbye so i had an idea a couple of days ago that i would bake some cupcakes and take them to Hayleigh and Claire as a surprise before i actually went back down the road. Yesterday's blip were the cakes i had made (24 of them but i couldn't fit that many in the picture comfortably) and this morning i went to Hayleigh's work and Claire's house as a surprise.

Hayleigh happened to be working on reception when i went in, which was lucky as i hadn't wanted to make a big fuss. She was very surprised :) thought i would return a dvd i had 'borrowed' off of her at the same time - double goodness in the form of Louis Theroux!

As i arrived at Claires house, i literally got to their door and had my hand up to knock when the door flung open and Claires Boyfriend (Doug), their baby and their 3yr old were just there at the door. Doug gave me the weirdest look as if to say 'what on earth are you doing just standing at my door not having knocked'... I never turn up unannounced so it just seemed very strange. We had an awkward laugh before i explained i was there to give Claire a big hug and some cakes. It turns out they were literally opening the door to leave as they were taking their wee one to Playzone. Really lucky i caught them :D
If i had left 5 minutes earlier, i may have been able to peak a glimpse at the rather fetching looking postie but i wouldn't have caught Claire - everything happens for a reason :) ....

So i arrived in Stirling at about 4, fairly uneventful journey with my mum down the road - just listened to a bit of Music... got back to my flat and unpacked things while my mum did a bit of work - put my hand into a bag and there was a razor without it's cover on the blade... sliced a wee chunk out the front top of my middle finger, right on the crease as wel so i can't bend my finger, good one Ela.

My mum is travelling back up the road tomorrow so is staying overnight in a hotel - we went for dinner in the Stirling Management Centre with Shelley and Andrew, expensive but noice food! Was a lovely night chitter chatting :)
Went for a wee walk when i got back from food. Is quite foggy out there and this tree just looked amazing with the rays from the light. Wish i had a tripod cause i'm sure i could have done a wee bit better with this one.

Anyways, feeling really tired but still have to unpack rakes :( boo!
