Thursday: Whirlwhind

Today followed what is turning out to be quite a regular whirlwind sort of a day:

- get up, get on top of some e-mails, fanny about a bit;
- head into town for a meeting;
- back home, have haircut which is just as well as was looking like a pineapple again;
- move some stuff around so that friends who are coming to pick up a bed settee have got space to manoeuvre it out;
- back into town to meet friends for drinks and dinner at Roast - see picture;
- miss train back home so have to go an alternate route and fork out for a taxi as can't be bothered to wait for half an hour at the station;
- blip and bed

P.S.  The streaky bits in the picture are snow and the big lighty thing in the background is the Shard, which is still being built.
