Foggy Bridge

Found out tonight that Old Bill had died and even though it was foggy and raining, I had to get out of the house for a wee while and take some blips with Pesky Princess. Reading about his death made me think back to some good times and people that are no longer with us.

First met Bill back in the 90's and was immediately impressed inspired by how much passion, drive & enthusiasm such an old guy had about the Internet and what it was going to become.

Even now, 16 years later, I still associate the smell of cigar smoke with Bill who seemed to smoke more of them than Jimmy Savile! You could always tell when he had been in the office as the cigar fug lingered for days.
