Trace Fossils

Woke up this morning and looked out my window to find outside completely covered in a thick blanket of fog. I went for a walk along the river don on the way into uni to try and capture the mysteriness and eeriness created by the fog, but didnt manage to get a great photo.
Had a good practical geology class looking at the trace fossils in rocks left behind from creatures millions of years old. Was pretty cool :) This particular species is a phycode - showing the burrows created and left behind when the rock underwent diagenesis.
