Vikings

Day 2 in York
Another very cold day but not as cold as last night.
We visited York Dungeons and had a guided tour in York Minster-the guides are so knowledgeable-well worth doing, but again frozen fingers, toes and noses-something only a hot toddy would improve.

On our way back to the hotel which was opposite Cliffords Tower I noticed a group of people gathered around the base of the mound.
It was late into the evening and quite dark.
A lovely image had been projected onto the castle wall and a group of Vikings stood at the bottom of the mound.
Photos were being taken for an advertisement for the forthcoming York Viking Festival-I took the opportunity in joining in and 'blipping'-well why not?

Off later for a lovely meal out-so full after but I personally blame that on drinking too much water.
