Dog

A few more bones, today. This nearly complete dog skeleton was found in a load of rubbish dumped to fill in a roadway, early 17th century.
Quite a wee pointy-nosed and fairly long-legged dog, very old when it died and with healing broken ribs.
Can't really talk about breeds, so long ago, but it was probably somewhat whippet-like in appearance.
