"The St Edmund Way"

For this weeks walk I joined 10 other ramblers from the "Bury St Edmunds Group" and walked from the village of Bures to Sudbury in Suffolk a distance of 7.5 miles.
The walk is part of the "The St Edmund Way" and the Bury group are walking this in sections and are going to plot and waymark the route before summer of this year. It is a huge task as the complete walk of about 80 miles has to be marked with a route sign at each stile and turn. When finished it will make a fantastic 3 day walk, and I wish them every success in completing the waymarking of this route.
A great walk in good company with the walk finishing with tea and a birthday cake as it was the 70th birthday of Ron West one of the walkers.
