Mother Hen...?

It's been a cloudy and fairly uneventful day so decided to take Skye outside to try and take some exciting action shots of her jumping the stream or something. She started acting very bizarrely with this pink squeaky ball, whining at it, then picking it up oh-so-gently with her teeth. She took it to a small tree in the garden and started digging some sort of nest for herself and the ball...turns out it looks like she's having a phantom pregnancy!! Apparently they're quite common at her age (~20months) and last a week or so. She brought it inside and is now curled up with it in her bed.

In hindsight I feel bad, I was throwing it around the garden earlier...!
