On a daily basis .........
...... under the direction of our wonderful baker, the students and workers in the estate Bakery make all the bread and buns for the community and the staff. Bread and rolls are made on a daily basis each morning and biscuits every afternoon. Pasta and pizzas are made weekly for dinners and lunches.
Every morning at 10.30 am the bread rolls are taken hot from the oven and collected by the staff and students for morning tea breaks. Bakery workers deliver fresh bread to the Houses in the community.
On Monday and Thursday mornings we have the delight of cheesy buns (above). On Tuesdays we have plain buns and on Wednesdays we have date or sun dried tomato buns (week about). On Fridays its croissants or Focaccia.
The baker ensures that the best of ingredients are always used, all organic and ethically sourced......and he always makes sure I am not left out by baking a small number of gluten free buns and treats.
There are few skinny people on the estate.
