old dog new tricks

A colleague gave me with a micro 4/3 to nikon F lens adapter. So today, I dragged out my old battered dog of a lens; a Vivitar manual focus 70-210 and made this photograph. It is taken from my office window with the camera propped on a stack of books and research papers and with the lights turned off to avoid any reflections on the window pane. No wonder i got some weird looks from one of the girls who sits right across my room.

Its not as sharp as i would have wanted it, but that blame lies entirely with the window cleaner :)
