The Shore is still closed for improvement works, as blipped last month from the other end of the street, here.

Closed to vehicles, that is. It's still possible for pedestrians get along it on foot, but there's no clear pathway and one has to weave ones way round large heaps of gravel and squeeze pass large roaring pieces of machinery. You can see a couple of folk cautiously edging round either side of the big blue container, which was being shifted into a new position at the time with much clanging and banging. And I'd always thought that the Belgians were unmatched in their devil-may-care approach to pedestrian safety amongst road works.

It'll be nice when it's finished, I'm shore sure.
