Barbershop Humour

I wanted to do these at some point in 2010. The logos are to go on shopping bags. I liked them as they are a good way to promote women's barbershop singing, barbershop singing in general and I always like a shopping bag.

I really struggled to find anyone willing to do four different types of bags with a reasonable minimum.

I now have such a man. Whoop.

He is printing me a lead one this weekend and even more exciting a water bottle.

Hoping the chorus like them on Monday.

The different slogans are a play on the very different way the parts are sung and placed within the arrangements. It is these differences that create the magical harmonies of barbershop.

I think it's a bit like marmite, you hear it and you either love it or hate it. I loved it and love singing within the harmonies. Just fabulous.

I also think that you need to hear it live and done well to really appreciate the style. Recordings are fab but don't do it justice.
