On a recce for the BBC

I'm photographing Vanessa Feltz today and her producer Kate.

The location is Marylebone and I have to find a suitable outside location. I want somewhere secluded where Vanessa will not be noticed and somewhere dry because when I arrive it's raining very hard.

The mews where I photographed these polystyrene cups did not fit the bill, however I found another detour off the main High Street with spot of dense greenery providing a soft backdrop.

I only had ten minutes with the ladies, so the forward planning was essential.

Luckily it stopped raining because although I'd thought about plan B, (a covered area outside a cafe), I hadn't gone as far as to get permission.
