Appreciation

This evening the Bike Club treated about 80 people to dinner at the Vistas Dining Room in the HOA #1 Clubhouse. Most had the Strip Steak. The event was to show appreciation to volunteers that have helped deliver about 5000 newspapers every month over the last year. This is the best fund raiser imaginable for a bike club. The project brings in funds sufficient to make some substantial charitable donations that are bicycle related and still have some nice parties. You will have to agree that for a bunch of sweaty bicyclists, these folks clean up pretty good.
