Drowning
Just bad news for Finland today.
1) Nokia, one of the most important power players in the Finnish economy, will sack over 1,000 employees in Finland this year - and many more abroad. 1,000 out of 1,600 Finnish employees is bloody much in our scale, and it is guessed that Nokia will soon be closing its factory in Finland - but nobody knows yet.
2) The Finnish Defence Forces will be closing six garrisons in coming years and constricting many more. In addition, 1,200 people will lose their jobs.
3) More gawky bureaucracy and wretched systems are coming, as the number of municipalities in Finland will be cut down from 336 to just 65 or 70. Big is more, they say.
Gosh, a prelude to difficult times this is!
