Lunch at Simpsons

It is not very often I get out of the office at lunch time. Today was one of those rare occasions. A colleague is leaving the department which gave us the opportunity or excuse for a lunch.

The photo shows the dining room at Simpson's, a fairly up market hotel in the West End of Aberdeen. This is taken fairly early so very few people, and none of my companions, had arrived yet. I was here for dinner only a few days ago. Being very adventurous I had steak and chips, I seem to have had that last week as well.

Generally I think restaurants tend to be better than hotel dining rooms. However Simpson's and its next door neighbour Malmaison, are fairly popular eating establishments.
