The Calm Before The Storm

Had an electrician call round today and try to find out what the problem is with the power.

He didn't - but he did confirm my suspicions that the fuse box is probably on its way out.
I also need an 'isolator switch' fitted by Sottish Power before having anything done to the fusebox.

The Cygnet took his first unaccompanied ride down the slide today - and loved it.

However, his next one he came down head first .... and managed to shoot of the end and land on his face on the frozen chipped bark (which did not give at all).

He howled............

The burst lip wasn't that bad.

He was still feeling sorry for himself back at the house - despite his favourite flavoured bicuit.

I had to suffer a management committee meeting at the local community centre tonight.
I thought I had got away from that a few years ago after having been the treasurer for 3 years.
Things have got worse and more chaotic (which I didn't think was possible).
