Window

Hopefully that's the last time I'll see this particular view. Got out of hospital today, just in time to see some of Craig before he leaves on Friday morning. Ah,it's so good to be home.

I have to take my hat off to the NHS staff. They're doing a fantastic job, under awful conditions. Last night and this morning I witnessed the nurses and doctors taking dogs abuse from a patient. They didn't get angry, they didn't raise their voices, they just dealt with it, smiled, laughed, carried on. Me, I'd have told her where to go, seriously. A poor woman had her op cancelled and was sent home because they didn't have a bed for her. She'd been waiting over a year for the surgery and will now have to wait even longer because the abusive patient (who was refusing surgery) was taking up the bed space. Makes me angry. And even more glad to be home in my own bed.
