It's All About You.... It's All About You Baby....

I don't want to offend my Gaelic Friends.... but

This drives me insane.

How much has this cost the Scottish Economy?

There are possibly 4 people in Troon speak Gaelic.

Gaelic, is not the common language of the people of South Ayrshire. As far as I am aware, the people who established the Farm of Barassie did not speak Gaelic. The people who travel on this train route, most of them are from Ayr, or Kilwinning, or Glasgow. None of whom are natural Gaelic Speakers.

Gaelic is the language of the Western Isles of Scotland. Troon is not on the Western Isles. I know Scotland is relatively small, but we are far enough away from the Western Isles to struggle to understand the accent when they speak to us.

Why must we have Gaelic subtitles on all our Road signs? Why?? Now I feel forever required to say "Barfassie" instead of Bar-assie.

And this coming from a mother who gave her child a Gaelic name which no one can pronounce when they see it written down LOL
