Not the same as eggs straight from the nest

Last week we were in France. Henrietta - a hen - has moved in and adopted our garden and lays us an egg every day even in the snow. Last week there were 14 in the nest when we arrived. Sadly we can't bring them home but the eggs in the kitchen remind us of her and we hope she is surviving the present cold spell.
