Is chivalry in men dead?

I've not had the best of days. Up early to get to Coventry for an all day briefing on a new framework contract. God it was boring and it went on from 9am to 4pm.

I got back home went to the gym and after 15 minutes on the running machine I felt like s**t, nearly thew up so I come home. I'm going to have me a long soak in the bath (pic) listening to Ricky gervais audio books then go to bed. I hope I ain't coming down with man flu, we all know how bad that is?

I was wondering today whether chivalry in men is dead? I saw a man today push a woman out the way to get on the train before her. Now was he just an ignorant ba**ard or has chivalry died. Here are a few of the things I think that are chivalrous that I do:
-I open and hold the the door for women
- I Give up my seat if someone needs it more than me.
- I offer to pay (not all the while and I won't be took for a fool).
- I offer my coat or jacket if a woman is cold (even when it was -15 in America), or if it's raining.
- I help if someone is carrying something heavy.

The thing is do woman want a chivalrous man in this modern era? or is it that they don't and that's why chivalry is dead or dying?
