A mystery solved

Our 13-year-old has been grumpy and preoccupied of late. T and I suspected it had a lot to do with teenage hormones and - more specifically - A Girl. But he wasn't giving anything away, and we didn't want to press it.

After the kids left for school this morning, I went into his room to check if he'd turned his radiator down. (I'm still reeling from yesterday's delivery of 1000 litres of heating oil and the accompanying bill for 910 Euros.)

Voila, the reason for his moodiness was etched on his window. Mystery solved.
