Waving at the sun
Had a nightmare evening with being contacted by the hospital to say a friend of mine hadn't taken his fracture clinic details home.
Turned out an old injury of a dislocated shoulder had been so bad he hadn't been able to get it back in himself and had called an ambulance who had taken him to hospital. The doctors struggled to get it back but eventually did. He was given morphine intravenously and eventually sent home.
Obviously it was without back up medication and so that evening he was in agony. I went to an all night chemist who wouldn't give me anything to help him as he'd been given morphine.
I went up to see him anyway and he wasn't there. I tracked him down at the hospital again in A&E where he was all night.
They told me the next morning (8th) (this is a back blip so it was this morning) that he had been sent home at half seven.
I tried ringing him twice but got no answer and presumed he was asleep.
Just been up there now..and he's not in his flat. I've been in with my spare key and even the things I left yesterday haven't been touched.
So I rang the hospital again to see if he's had to go back again and they said no. The last record they have of him is sending him home early this morning.
I am so worried.
