The Atlantic Restaurant
Modelled on an ocean liner, the Atlantic Restaurant was built for the 1938 Empire Exhibition and sat on the western edge of Ibrox Hill within Belahouston Park. All that remains now is the ship's prow as well as a stone that commemorates King George and Queen Elizabeth's first visit as monarchs to the City of Glasgow. During the exhibition, the stone was utilised as the ship's funnel.
