What a few days....

Serious back blipping but what a mad few days.

We had a perfect wedding on Saturday. The service was wonderful and as we walked out of church, with the bells ringing the first few snow flakes started to fall!
Our pictures were taken in the snow which will look completely magical and then we made our way to the reception, by which time we had about 2cms....and still the snow came.

More stunning pictures in the snow followed by a wonderful wedding breakfast and speeches, but by this time we had around 4" of snow. At this point we had no choice but to call off the evening reception.

The rest sort of went by in a blur and we ended up with an emergency room at the local premier inn. I cannot thank Flic and the staff there enough and also to Mike Jones Photography, the DJ and to Pronuptia in Hanley as they have offered to help us relive our reception in the summer at no extra cost.

The wedding made the regional and national BBC news and even the world service with friends in America seeing the report.

Mental few days, but truly couldn't be happier to be Mrs Flash!
