Winter reflections

It was very cold down by our backwater of the River Nene today but the scene was beautiful as I stood on the bridge on the flood plains. So glad I braved the cold and went for a walk - the pink in the sky as the sun went down highlighted the reflections. Looks quite effective in large.

Decided not to drive the 26 miles to my watercolour class today as I looked out on frozen fog early this morning. Did the drawing for a landscape in the Lake District instead. Now all I need to do is pluck up the courage to paint it!
