A is for....Anglais

So I am bit late for the party - some would say, fashionably late.....others, better late than never......and then there are those that would probably tell me to do one for being so late but I will pretend that they aren't there.

My A is for Anglais. It's what we are, in the land of the Francais and it also makes me smile as it remind me of an advert on the TV for McVities digestive biscuits - the slogan says "c'est anglais, mais c'est bon!"*

Just what us rosbifs can aspire to - anglais mais bon!!

*It's English, but it's good!
