DIY

My sister (who lives in England) has bought a flat in Glasgow for her student son and a couple of lodgers to live in. Unfortunately her student son has no DIY skills so she asked if I could go over and fit a curtain rail for her. Unfortunately, his measuring skills are not up to much and the curtain rail was about 4" too short!! I won't go into how bad my curtain hanging skills are - but the rail underneath is OK!
