Electric Man the Movie

quick blip from outside the Filmhouse. I was lucky enough to go to a private screening this evening of a brilliant entertaining, low budget, home grown, independent scottish film called Electric Man

And it's not about drugs, or gritty realism, instead it's set in the glorious geeky world of comic book collecting... won't tell you to much as I don't want to ruin the story....

It's showing on the 23rd of Feb in the Glasgow film festival and will then go on tour around a whole range if British independent cinemas... If you get a chance, then go and see it. Great fun, some really nice sharp witty bits, and a good chase scene. In some parts the budget shows through, but you can tell that the team had a blast whilst making it, and they draw you into the sense of enjoyment. Hints of Simon Pegg, Black Books, geek chic, with slightly hyperreal characters. Great use of Edinburgh's fair city.
