No longer sleeping

Alexander bought me these tulips towards the end of last week, maybe it was Wednesday...

They remained closed up tight all over the weekend, until we both got back here last night & I saw they were open.

When I exclaimed my surprise, he said they had been waiting for him to come before they decided to open up, maybe that had....

I took this as we were leaving the house this morning because I really like the droopy, wayward, drunk one at the front....!
