We raced to swimming today and found on arrival that we had the changing room all to ourselves. It was nice while it lasted because then we discovered that the pool was deserted and the swimming lesson had been cancelled due to the weather conditions. I'm terrible at carrying my phone so I never recieved the message. Poor Elodie.
It worked to our advantage though because the drive to Risebridge was so pretty. All the snow at home had turned to sludge but here in the countryside it remained bathed in a low mist.
It was so pretty and reminded me of how my environment can awaken my senses. A feeling I haven't had for a while.
