Silky
Having satisfied the nature loving blippers over the weekend today it is the turn of the yarn lovers.
I got home in the dark and fog so there was really no option.
This is my latest weaving project using silk cocoons I had spun, seen on the main shuttle, and from right to left on the other shuttles : mohair & silk (called Clyde Clouds as it is dyed locally), tussah silk I spun and both the plain silk and the mohair plied together. These also form the warp. I want to create a really textured, silky soft wrap so hopefully it will work out.
I'm hoping the fog doesn't last as there's already a fair bit of fog horn action on the river and I really fancied a good night's sleep tonight.
