Fruit of the Day
The bowl of fruit looked very welcoming and homely when I arrived home today. Together with the fresh, clean smell of the house it really felt good to be home. I am fortunate to have found a domestic helper that I can trust to keep my home as I would if I wasn't working.
Monday started off very badly as the first phone call I got was from a parent who was highly distressed as she had found her son unconscious this morning. It was a hair-raising hour until we got the news that he had been admitted to the medi-clinic and he was conscious and stable. A parent's worst nightmare!
The day went on as normal after that and I was able to leave school on time for a change. I got a few jobs done around the house this afternoon and an easy supper is planned for just now. (Bagels and Lox - smoked salmon and cream cheese on freshly baked bagels. This is a family favourite especially in Summer)
I still have about 100 pages to read of "Life of Pi", which I will try to complete tonight. It has been an enjoyable read and great for the imagination too!
EDIT: I just realised that it is the final challenge on Celebrity Apprentice tonight. Looks like I am going to be watching TV and not finishing my book!
I have uploaded a doggy Backblip for Sunday.
