Pounds Scrapyard

There was once a huge submarine here that gradually decomposed over a couple of decades.

The scrapyard is one of the first things you see as you enter Portsmouth. It's for this reason that most residents want to see the back of it.

Being a Sunday, this was the closest I could get to these beasts. So apologies for the image quality. It was on maximum zoom.

I have no idea what they are apart from they are enormous and once belonged to the US Army.

I will try and go back another day...
