Meet Herman, the German friendship sourdough cake.
My sister gave me the mixture a week last saturday, and each day we've had to stir it, and a couple of times more ingredients have been added. Today it had to be split into four, and more ingredients added to the forth one, as thats the one we keep and cook. Ignoring the slightly browner bits, this tasted wonderful. We shall give the other 3 away over the next couple of days.
