A product of genetic manipulation?

My mom was making salsa this morning to put on her omlet. As she cut into the third pepper, which happened to be orange, she found that BAM! There was a green pepper inside of the orange one. SO WEIRD, RIGHT? Well, my step dad seems to think that it's due to genetic manipulation. As far as I'm concerned, it's just an oddball of a pepper. :P
Tomorrow night (monday) is my night to make dinner....any suggestions of something pretty quick? :)
