A fisherman and his dog

Bryan Kruse salmon fishing at Ballogie beat on the River Dee., watched over by his springer spaniel Solo. Bryan has had many dogs but Solo, I know, was a very special dog for him. In the field he was a brilliant gun dog and he doted on Bryan, never leaving his side. I think this photograph does him justice, reminding me what a great looking dog he was too, standing proud. Bryan rated him as a "once in a lifetime dog".
