I like this tree - or more precisely this view of this tree - and have often tried to photograph it, but I have never been satisfied with the result. I think the composition means something to me which passes others by and I have not been able to work out what the personal association is.
However, since I have never blipped it before and a snowy blip was inevitable (there was snow everywhere one looked today) I shall share this one.
I watched a short film about Andreas Gursky this morning and found myself interested in his rejection of the idea that photography is about capturing an ephemeral moment.
