Black and White in colour

A colour picture of a subject almost totally black on white.

Snow exposure is famously tricky, and the rule of thumb is generally to add about 2 stops of exposure compensation to get it to look right. In this case I pulled back slightly from that level, using the live histogram to prevent me from losing the snow to blown highlights.
